Paul Allen is Founder and Chairman of Aston Associates. Prior to founding Aston Associates, Mr. Allen was one of the leading partners in the financial institutions practice of McKinsey & Co., working both in the New York and London offices. Mr. Allen has authored numerous publications including Reengineering the Bank (McGraw Hill, 1997) and Creating A Great Bank: Achieving Superior Performance After the Perfect Storm, 2010. He earned his M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School, where he was a Harkness Fellow and Baker Scholar, and his M.A. in Law from Oxford University, England.

Jay Kalawar is President of Aston Associates. Mr. Kalawar specializes in strategically positioning banks for sustained growth and profitability through acquisitions and business process, human capital, IT and CRM design in commercial, retail, consumer lending, asset management, trust and private banking. Mr. Kalawar started working for Aston in 1993 and led major operational redesign engagements at US Regional Banks, leading to substantial increases in shareholder value.Mr. Kalawar is an author of Creating A Great Bank: Achieving Superior Performance After the Perfect Storm, 2010. Prior to 1993, Mr. Kalawar led major design and change efforts at Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, McKinsey & Co and Bank of Montreal. He has earned his MBA from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley, and his Bachelor of Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
